Jesus in the Old Testament

How does the Old Testament look forward to Jesus Christ? In two short talks, Desi Alexander considers how the books of Genesis and Exodus point forward to Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. Genesis anticipates the coming of a king who will rule on God’s behalf over the earth. Through this future king all the nations of the earth will experience God’s blessing by submitting to his authority. The promises associated with this divinely promised king are fulfilled in Jesus Christ. Exodus sets out to explain how sinful people can be reconciled to a holy God, providing a paradigm for understanding what Jesus Christ achieves as the Lamb of God.
