Home Groups
Home Groups have been operating continuously in Fitzroy since the 1950’s. Their longevity is a testimony to the value of meeting regularly together in small groups outside the weekly Sunday service. Most groups meet fortnightly and follow a pattern of Bible study and prayer followed by supper. The Kirk Session encourages all members and those thinking about becoming members of the congregation, to join a group. As well as providing an opportunity to deepen your faith and understanding of the Bible, home groups are a very good source of pastoral support and friendship.
At present there are 13 groups are operating within the congregation; if you don’t belong to one yet – why not give it a try? Details of when they meet are on the announcements section of the website. Contact the Home Group Co-ordinators – Roz Stirling on 07876394556 or Philip Mateer 07711111670 or contact any of the Home Group leaders – we will be glad to help you find a group where you feel at home.
